Day 6: We headed out of South Dakota and it was a dreary day. It was rainy and cloudy into Iowa and Nebraska. We did find the Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota. It's design changes every year and it is made out of all kinds of corn. This year's theme was "America's Destinations". Inside we had yummy corn on the cob and popcorn balls. We saw some windmills like they have in Southern California. We drove and drove and drove and ended in humid Des Moines, Iowa. Natalie was SUPER excited to finally see FIREFLIES!!
