Yesterday, we saw forests, high desert, and alkali flats. Today, it was rock mountains, limestone quarries, salt mined into huge hills, Great Salt Flats... Stopped at Saltair and Natalie walked about a mile out on the beach to put her feet in the Great Salt Lake. She said it smelled and was disgusting. Arrived in Salt Lake City and spent the rest of the day and evening at Temple Square. While the morning was pretty nice, when we were just about finished tonight -- Carole ran out of O2; we got caught in the worst rainstorm, Natalie had to run the length of Temple Square pushing the Ma-Ma in her wheelchair. Soaked to the bone. Freezing cold... and, still, it was a GREAT day. We had fun! Picture 1: Entering Utah
