Day 3 and 4 (SLC-Wyoming)

Day 3: We had the LONGEST day today. We left SLC and made our way North. We drove through Idaho (which was BEAUTIFUL) but we also got a giant crack in the windshield. We drove through Montana and into Wyoming/Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone was breathtaking! We saw buffalo right next to the car, caribou and a white wolf. We also saw the spectacular Old Faithful along with other geyser's and "painted pots" (natural mud springs). The day was amazing....until we took a wrong turn, drove 2 hours in the wrong direction through the Grand Teton National Forest. We turned around, got on the right road but didn't get to the motel in Cody, Wy until about 2:15 am. We stayed at a cute little motel and slept!

Day 4: After only sleeping about 6 hours, we had a wonderful country breakfast at a local Cody, Wyoming breakfast place. We then just drove through Wyoming (where we saw antelope, trains full of coal and amazing scenery) to Newcastle, Wy. We are staying here and going to Mount Rushmore in the morning (about a hour hour drive).
Pictures coming soon: we are having problems uploading :(
